High-Interest Books for Struggling Readers

Becky Mann

We would love to have a library of high-interest, lower level books for our struggling readers at Creekside, to provide materials students can access and have choice in what they read.

We would love to have a library of high-interest, lower-level books for our struggling readers at Creekside, to provide materials students can access and have choice in what they read. We need more books because, in general, the books are shorter and students move through them more quickly. These books would be available for all of our teachers to use for any student who is struggling to read: general education students or special education students. We have borrowed from libraries at other schools, but we would like to have our own collection.
