A "Cut" Above the Rest!
Krickett Chamberlain
A large format laser cutter for DHS Art Students to explore a more 3D approach to their 2D Design Process. This will further enable a multitude of different future career preparedness while adding a creative and artistic approach.
DHS takes pride in preparing Students for College and Careers. Many people have become a production/DIY/design business and are very successful in this area without needing college or even a trade certificate. My goal is to help promote artistic and creative thinking in the DHS Art Classes but also give them a taste of machinery that can help them be successful design thinkers and business workers/owners in their futures. Laser engraving is used in so many fields (both creative and functional) that giving Students a glimpse at the machine and its uses and properties can help them be successful in almost any career path.
